These DIY shows more often are houses, although they have brought me to a rental space and now to a warehouse. This warehouse gave an awesome aesthetic surrounded by stacks of computer parts and cases. What do you do when there is a bunch of music in one night? If you’re me, you try to find the best way to hit as much as you love and enjoy it. For tonight, probably one of the best examples of how I earned my nickname, I hit up two separate shows almost simultaneously. This was a night catching one of my favorite touring friends, and seeing more of the great younger musicians in our punk scene. There was a good energy to the room. A lot of fantastic musicians I don’t usually see play by themselves, just usually with their appropriate bands. Three of the four didn’t even use a microphone.
