The 2017 Top 10 of the Arizona Locals

I’ll say it here, for all the complaints people have for 2017, and I have a couple of my own, the Arizona music scene is strong. They are killing it in this last year. It made my choices tough. Fighting the urge to make it the longest list since 2016, I have cut it down to my top 10 local Phoenix and Arizona band albums. Present Discoveries

The night before Warped Tour you might think I was preparing my body for one hundred and fifteen degrees. Instead, I was finding some killer music to watch. They Put the Dent in Twin Ponies

New Year’s Eve isn’t the only night that brings out a bunch of great music. The Eve of New Year’s Eve brings out just as much fun. I went over to Yucca for the awesome dudes in Dent and Twin Ponies releasing their new split. They know how to book a show, because Bear Ghost and Sonoran Chorus brought the energy too. Sonoran Chorus right off the bat hits you with this punk energy and alternative indie sound blend. This is the perfect show opener if you’re looking to make…
