Photo Gallery: No Lungs, Zero Degrees North, The Jaunts, and Sore Eyes

It was a night of a perfect combination of locals over at 51 West. Sore Eyes opening up with high energy. However, due to illness and down members the Jaunts went acoustic for this set. Then it was back to high energy, high flying as Zero Degrees North and No Lungs closed it out. A fantastic night of local music melting faces. Check out a few of the shots from the night below.

It Isn’t All Painting and Fences

Last night was one of those where I could have been in six places at once. I put catching the EP release show for Painting Fences atop my list. You have seen me attend and bring it up on here before, when we had a benefit show for Hunter Keener. However, another family of a friend has had it strike for a nephew who is only eleven and now diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma Cancer. I tend to avoid…

The New Class of Punks

Tonight was a night that I got to check in on how some of the younger music talent is killing it in the local scene. I could put each one of the bands into a different punk rock genre giving a good mix of sounds. They had a solid turnout of the under twenty ones moshing and moving around most of the night. These kids have passion and energy for music, and I love it. Right off the bat, I was catching Sunlaand who I had unfortunately missed the night…
