This Side of Buckeye

This night was a fulfillment of seeing one of the big local Phoenix bands when I was just finding music, listening to The Edge 106.3 in my car with my recently printed driver’s license. The Gypsy Punks

This was a fantastic night of music! Well, other than it was off to a slow start. I don’t mind DJ’s, and they can be really engaging. However, opening up a show that many are out for a brand of rock and punk with forty minutes of a DJ can be a killer. It became a time of more continued socialization on my part. In The Whale on this Punk Sunday

This night started after the Arizona Cardinals game, getting to Yucca early to chomp down their wings as a dinner and chat football with Eric and Nate of In the Whale. This was in addition to a discussion of which team do we dislike more on Sunday Night Football, the Seahawks or the Patriots. We didn’t come to any agreement, mine being a division rival with impartial feelings toward the Pats and theirs being an AFC rival of their Broncos.
